Jade Robinson is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment department. Ms. Robinson counsels employers regarding all aspects of labor and employment law including employment discrimination, unemployment, COVID-19 vaccines and mandates, small business employment issues, diversity and gender equity initiatives, employee handbooks, compliance, and more. Ms. Robinson represents businesses in courts and before administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC), the Ohio Unemployment Compensation Review Commission (UCRC), and the Industrial Commission of Ohio. In addition, Ms. Robinson’s legal analysis regarding COVID-19 vaccine mandates has been published by the Ohio State Bar Association. Prior to joining Bugbee and Conkle, Ms. Robinson worked for a litigation firm representing large companies in both state and federal court.
Ms. Robinson obtained her undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Ms. Robinson earned her law degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she won awards for academic excellence and her performance as an intern with the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic.
Ms. Robinson is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Women’s Bar Association, the Toledo Bar Association, and the Toledo Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Robinson currently serves on the CLE Committee with the Cincinnati Bar Association.
Outside of work, Ms. Robinson enjoys getting outdoors, staying healthy, and spending time with her two cats, Cannoli and Cheesecake.
