The Hearing Officer Manual is Now “Adjudications Before the Ohio Industrial Commission”

As previously reported, on August 15, 2016 the Industrial Commission’s former Hearing Officer Manual was revised and renamed “Adjudications Before the Ohio Industrial Commission”.  The manual review began in October, 2014 and resulted in eight extensive Commission meetings leading to major changes to the new manual. Some of the changes include: multiple sections of the manual revised in their entirety; “Injury-Employer” section has been split into 2 sections; the “Impairment of Earning Capacity” section was removed completely; 14 new policies were added and 13 obsolete policies removed; and substantial changes to several current policies.
