  • Congratulations to Mary Rust and the Toledo Repertoire Theatre on Their First Ever Improv Class Production

    On November 16, 2015, the Toledo Repertoire Theatre held a production of their first ever improv class. Bugbee & Conkle’s own Mary Rust was a part of the production as an improv performer. The Toledo Repertoire Theatre has served the Toledo area through live theatre since 1933 and we are proud to have a team member contributing to such a celebrated community program.

  • 3 Bugbee & Conkle Participants at the 2015 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

    The 2015 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis will be held December 12, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at the Shops at Fallen Timbers.  Shannon Aschemeier, Carl Habekost, and Mark Barnes will be participating again in this annual event to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability. Perennially, Mark has been the top fundraiser for the Toledo area JBR raising over $20,000 in donations and gifts.

  • Carl Habekost Will Cover The Insane Intersection of Labor & Employment Law + Workers’ Compensation Law at the TBA Workers’ Comp Seminar

    The Toledo Bar Association will be hosting its annual workers’ compensation seminar on December 7, 2015 from 12 to 3:30.  Certified Occupational Safety Specialist and Workers’ Compensation Specialist Carl Habekost will be presenting on topics pertaining to the intersection of labor and employment law and workers’ compensation law.

  • Northwestern Ohio Self-Insurers’ Association’s Annual Toys for Tots Toy Event to be Held December 8, 2015 at Stone Oak Country Club

    Robert King is sharing the holiday spirit by organizing the NWOSIA’s Annual Toys for Tots event for the 25th consecutive year.  United States Marine Corps representatives will be in attendance.  This year’s event will be held on December 8, 2015 at the Stone Oak Country Club, Holland, Ohio.

  • Ohio Voters Reject Marijuana; Business As Usual For Ohio Employers

    After months of debate about the implications of legalizing marijuana in Ohio, Ohio voters resoundingly rejected the constitutional measure known as Issue 3.  Pre-election polls, which showed marijuana support to be essentially deadlocked, proved to be a poor predictor of the final outcome of the election as 65% of voters voted against legalizing marijuana.
