A final rule issued by OSHA revises the agency’s beryllium standard for general industry. The changes affect provisions for methods of compliance, personal protective clothing and equipment, hygiene areas and practices, housekeeping, medical surveillance, hazard communication, and recordkeeping.
On June 16, 2020, Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 81 (H.B. 81) into law, which made significant changes to Ohio’s Workers’ Compensation law. H.B. 81 makes significant changes to the doctrine of voluntary abandonment of a claim, the statute of limitation on filing a VSSR, a state fund employer’s settlement authority and the statute of limitation on a claim, among other minor changes.
