Effect of Legalization of Same Sex Marriage on Employment Laws to be Discussed at Employment Law Seminar

The United States Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, legalizing same sex marriage, is now well known. Bugbee & Conkle’s annual Employment Law seminar, scheduled for October 1, 2015, will include consideration of the impact of this decision on a number of different employment laws, including the FMLA, ERISA, the ADAAA, and Ohio’s workers’ compensation laws, just to mention a few.  Registration for the seminar will begin in mid-July.  In the meantime, please note the seminar date on your calendar.  For an overview of the Obergefell decision, click here.
