Industrial Commission Hearing Officers Implicated in “Questionable Gathering”

The Inspector General of Ohio investigated the conduct of several Cleveland hearing officers attending a party at Maumee Bay State last Fall during the Commission’s State Hearing Officer’s Meeting.  Allegedly, the party was hosted by a law firm, which represented claimants before the Commission.  There are allegations the party including nude women and alcoholic beverages.  The Inspector General made a formal recommendation to the chairman of the Commission to consider disciplinary action against the hearing officers involved.   Click here to read more.
