Minimum Wage Increases Set to Take Effect

Employers should remember that the minimum wage is scheduled to increase in several states effective January 1, 2021.  Employers should evaluate their current policies and practices to ensure that they remain in compliance not only with federal minimum wage laws, but also state and local laws.

  • In Ohio, the minimum wage increases from $8.70 to $8.80 per hour.
  • In Michigan, the minimum wage increases from $9.65 to $9.87 per hour.
