Legal Administrative Assistant

Bugbee & Conkle, LLP is a small, but, busy law firm concentrating its practice in workers’ compensation, safety, and labor & employment defense. Bugbee & Conkle represents employers in a variety of administrative agencies and courts throughout Ohio.

Skills needed: Self-starter, critical thinking, work quickly and efficiently to meet short deadlines, great attention to detail, ability to track and maintain multiple calendars and workloads, above average Microsoft Office skills (all programs), above average general computer skills, +Adobe Acrobat, +medical language recognition, ++legal background

Key Responsibilities: The legal secretary is responsible for supporting attorneys and occasionally paralegals by performing a variety of administrative duties, including drafting correspondence and legal memoranda, managing billing systems, calendar maintenance and deadline management, electronic file management, answering phones and greeting visitors, and communicating with attorneys, clients, and court and agency personnel while maintaining client confidence. Must demonstrate proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook).
