Ohio Industrial Commission Expands Docket, Cancels Hearing Officer Meeting

A Special Meeting of the members of the Ohio Industrial Commission was held today, April 15, 2020 wherein the Commissioners voted to add permanent partial disability hearings to their telephone hearing dockets. The hearings should only go forward if employers are able to obtain their own independent medical examinations. The Commissioners also decided to cancel the Statewide Hearing Officer Meeting set for September 14, 2020 in Lewis Center, Ohio due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
