OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard Became Effective January 10, 2022 – Is Your Workplace Compliant?

by | Jan 12, 2022 | Safety Sense

While we are waiting on the Supreme Court to rule on the OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) regarding COVID-19 vaccinations, employers must comply with the majority of the OSHA ETS requirements as of this Monday, January 10, 2022. All parts of the OSHA ETS are in full effect, except for the testing requirement for unvaccinated individuals which does not go into effect until February 9, 2022. Therefore, employers with 100 or more employees should issue their OSHA ETS Compliant Policy, start collecting individual’s vaccination status, and require all unvaccinated employees to wear a mask at the workplace. Please see our article regarding the OSHA ETS compliance here.  We will keep you updated regarding the Supreme Court decision as soon as it is made.  Please reach out if you have any questions.
