Robert Solt and Carl Habekost shared workers’ compensation and OSHA strategies at an Employment Law Conference hosted by The Employer’s Association on March 22, 2013

Robert Solt and Carl Habekost shared tips with Human Resource and Safety Managers at the Employer’s Association Employment Law Conference regarding workers’ compensation and safety matters.  Mr. Solt, who concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation, discussed topics such as: claims management, accident investigation, preparing evidence to defend workers’ compensation claims, presenting evidence at hearings, and substantial aggravation.  Mr. Habekost, who is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, provided an OSHA overview and update, reviewed the General Duty Clause, and provided information on written safety programs, job hazard analysis, and recent trends regarding workplace violence and injury and illness prevention programs.
