Biography
Deborah E. Bensch represents and defends employers in workers’ compensation matters before the Industrial Commission of Ohio.
Debbie has been practicing law since 2007 and is admitted to practice in Ohio and Michigan.
Debbie began her legal career in the Legal Aid sector practicing in Toledo, Ohio for Advocates for Basic Legal Equality and in Las Vegas, Nevada for Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. Her practice areas included Immigration, Employment, and Family Law. After returning to Ohio, Debbie practiced in Social Security Disability for over ten years. During this time, she appeared in over 2,500 hearings throughout the states of Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
Debbie attended the University of Toledo where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, magna cum laude. Debbie received her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
Debbie is a member of the Toledo Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association. Debbie serves as a board member for MLK Kitchen for the Poor located in Toledo, OH. She resides in Perrysburg, Ohio with her husband and their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, physical fitness, and traveling.
