JANELLE M. MATUSZAK has practiced law with the firm since 2005. Janelle concentrates her practice in representing employers in the workers' compensation area, regularly appearing before the Industrial Commission of Ohio. Janelle is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist and she assists employers with safety issues including OSHA compliance. Janelle also practices Juvenile Law and Civil litigation. She has experience in many areas of the law including Collection, Personal Injury, Family Law, Employment, Contract, Business, Criminal, Landlord and Tenant and Estate and Probate Law. Janelle has represented individuals and businesses in trial and appellate courts throughout Ohio.

Janelle also practices before the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, Juvenile Division, serving as a Guardian ad litem in dependency, neglect and abuse cases. Janelle is a former Chairperson and Secretary of the Grievance Committee of the Toledo Bar Association. Janelle is a frequent lecturer to employer groups, bar associations, and employers throughout Ohio, and also provides in-plant trainings.

Janelle earned her Bachelor of Education Degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Toledo in 1999 with a major in Public Affairs and Paralegal Administration. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Toledo in 2002.

Janelle is married with three children and two step-children. Janelle enjoys physical fitness, spending time with her family, and traveling.
