Employer Spotlight: Employee Outside of Work Activities

On Behalf of | Mar 1, 2021 | Employment Law & Litigation, Firm News, Seminars

Considerations when employees are reported for domestic violence, protest behavior, non-mask compliance/social distancing, etc.

Many legal considerations come into play when an employee is reported for activity outside of the workplace. Employers will need to consider the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1969, the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and more when dealing with these touchy situations. Attorneys Carl Habekost and Janelle Matuszak present this free webinar wherein they discuss these considerations for employers.
