Mark Barnes to Speak to Law Students at University of Toledo

Mark Barnes will be the guest speaker at a Black History Month Luncheon at noon today at the University of Toledo, College of Law. Mark will be speaking about the role of African American attorneys in today’s environment. Mark is an accomplished African American attorney himself, who has practiced at Bugbee & Conkle for 15 years, and previously with the Ohio Attorney General’s office. Mark has served as president of the Thurgood Marshall Law Association and has served on various boards, including the Board of Bar Examiners, the Toledo Bar Association’s Board of Directors, the Flower Hospital Board, and the Northwest Ohio Human Resources Board. Recently Mark was appointed to the ProMedica Physicians and Continuum Services Board.
