Biography

Gregory B. Denny has spent his legal career practicing law with Bugbee & Conkle. Greg concentrates his practice in defending employers in all matters arising from injuries and disease suffered by employees in the workplace. Greg represents employers on a myriad of issues at all levels of the Industrial Commission and appears in trial and appellate courts throughout Ohio. Over the course of his career, Greg has successfully defended employers before civil juries in the trial courts of Defiance, Hancock, Lucas, Cuyahoga, Allen, Wood, Henry, and Shelby counties. Greg also has successfully represented employers in the Third, Sixth and Tenth District Courts of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court on numerous workers' compensation, safety violation and employment intentional tort issues. Greg has spoken on workers' compensation, workplace safety and employer intentional tort law to groups of employers, attorneys and judges at conferences and seminars throughout Ohio. Greg is a former trustee and president of the Northwestern Ohio Self-Insurers Association.

Greg attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with Honors. Greg received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from The Ohio State University. For the past 27 years, Greg has been included in The Best Lawyers in America for his work in defending employers in the workers' compensation area. Greg also has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio's Super Lawyers magazine and has also been recognized as Who's Who in Toledo Area Law by Toledo Business Journal several years in a row. Greg is the past Chairman of the Toledo Bar Association's Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee and a former member of the Promedica Physicians and Continuum Services Board. Greg is married and has two adult children. Greg enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren, staying physically fit, cooking, gardening, and traveling.
