Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation will host its annual regional safety and health conference, the largest in the U.S., March 9-11 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This free event offers hundreds of educational sessions and free continuing education credits to Ohio employees and employers in an effort to prevent workplace injuries and achieve better outcomes for injured workers. Other presentations are aimed at reducing workers’ compensation claims costs and keeping Ohio’s workforce healthy and productive.
OSC16 featured workplace safety experts include: Mark M. Kowaleski, Chief of the Safety & Health Division at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland; and L. Casey Chosewood, M.D., Director of the Office for Total Worker Health at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
